The Keezag MVP was about to be launched and we started to work on the next-gen of the website and the native apps (iOS and Android).
The product had passed thru a name change and needed a new look, a new marketing website, a clearer way to sell the service, a new brand guideline, a design system, and an improvement in the user flow.
my approach
I joined Keezag as the Lead Product Designer and found a group of 4 other product designers there. My first action was to know every member of the team and start to collect feedback from them, and also from other stakeholders. My second action was to understand the product roadmap and read every business document we had about competitive analysis, user journey map and user flows. For my surprise, we had many reports ready which helped a lot.
After collecting the first data from the focus group, analytics report, heatmap tools, and the user tests in the Userzoom platform, we started to work on the MVP improvement and an app V2, the new brand name, and the new brand color palette.
I also started the first design system in Figma and we revamp the web and mobile native UI. This task wasn’t easy due to the many bugs and hard code the system had at that time. I also worked closely with the Marketing Director to deliver new marketing materials.

Carlos is a very capable professional, as well as an awesome person to work with. Beyond his creativity and technical ability by itself, this is very important to know how (and when) to clearly communicate and “sell” your ideas, work as a team, and deal with different points of view. Carlos has all these skills and has definitely improved our product value through his insights and implementations. We had a great challenge creating a unified view of our newborn product, refining product vision, and identity, managing different stakeholders’ expectations and helping our Product Owner to provide the dev team with a clearer view of what needed to be done. Even after he left the team, his work keeps making difference here.
I had the pleasure to work with Carlos Szili at keezag. Unfortunately, it was just for a very short period. Nonetheless, it was long enough to be very impressed with his professionalism. Starting with collaboration, where he showed an open mind to truly listen and understand the feedback provided by other teams such as product, tech, marketing, and sales. He also brought structure to the team by bringing in a more effective way of working, where feedback was collected and approvals were made throughout the process, in order to make sure we were all aligned by the time the work was completed.
I do not hesitate to refer Carlos Szili for a UX role in any Tech company and will be more than happy to work with him again in the future.
